Buffalo Prescott is thrilled to host a discussion with Rajni Perera and Zeb Smith around world building and the fantastic. Perera’s work is informed by a relationship to speculative/science fiction, functioning in some ways as a representational mythic language, speaking forms into existence and creating a hieroglyphic order in the midst of a dystopian moment. Perera and Smith will unpack the connective threads between the work and its precedents, examining how it functions in the present.
