bc <3s: Stop the Bleed

‘because hearts are essential’ is a program series focused on touchpoints of community well being. Buffalo Prescott works to bolster the connections between all of us by offering imaginative educational opportunities that serve our friends and neighbors. bc <3s is shorthand for our commitment to be engaged in mutual support and betterment.
We have partnered with Henry Ford Health Systems for our first offering: Stop The Bleed, a Bleeding Control Basics Course designed to allow anyone to become a lifesaver. When minutes could matter, a community member equipped with this life saving information could mean all the difference!
The #1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. Learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, become certified to STOP THE BLEED, and feel empowered to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happens.
The course is approx. 90-minutes and will teach three quick actions to stop bleeding and help save a life at home, in the community, or even at work!
