Join artist Cyrah Dardas on a color finding sensory walk on Belle Isle’s Lighthouse trail 

Together we'll slow down, wander and collect things, discovering the hidden colors living inside leaves, flowers, stones, bark, and seeds. Along the way, children and caregivers will experiment with simple natural pigment-making techniques and create artwork using the materials of the island itself. 

Who is this for?
Families with children (recommended ages 1–6) and anyone who enjoys exploring nature together. 

What to Bring

• Clothes you don't mind getting a messy + wet 
  
• Closed-toe shoes for walking

• A sense of wonder 
  
• A snack (probably to share)

At the end of our adventure, every participant will take home their own nature-inspired artwork and help create a collective color palette documenting Belle Isle in this particular season.
