7 PM Craftivism Discussion + Open Crochet
The Collective + Buffalo Prescott present a series of crochet workshops and talks around popular engagement through craft. On four Wednesdays, starting November 19 through December 10, we will host crochet instruction followed by discussions on how to use these learned skills to serve our communities through craftivism.
The first hour of each workshop will be set aside with a limited number of beginner spots for those interested in learning to crochet. We will provide all of the materials for these beginners to learn to crochet over the course of four weeks. Please note that these are paid attendance and tickets can be purchased via link in bio. Fee includes materials.
That said, all are welcome to come and share knowledge or just hang out and crochet.
The second hour is meant for discussions about the impact and possibilities of crafting for direct or indirect community betterment. All ages welcome and encouraged to participate in the conversation and activities with a work space specifically for younger participants.
