Suzy Poling

Artist Bio:
Suzy Poling is an interdisciplinary artist from Detroit intertwining sound, light, and texture to create immersive experiences that explore futurism, naturalism, and storytelling through various mediums. Her work intends to blur boundaries between physical and digital, natural and constructed, and visual and sonic. By investigating the interferences and in-between spaces of networks, textures, technologies, architecture, and the human form, she aims to create new synesthetic experiences that merge light and sound into one.  

Suzy Poling is a recipient of the Mike Kelley Foundation Grant and was a nominee for the SECA Award at the SFMOMA and has had 8 solo art exhibitions in Chicago, Detroit, and San Francisco.
